Business CTEC
OCR Cambridge Technical Ext Certificate in Business
Year 12
Extended Certificate in Business is equivalent to one GCE A Level. You will need to study 5 units over 2 years to achieve this qualification.
The units in bold are assessed by an external exam. All other units are assessed through coursework assignments. Units in italics are mandatory.

- The Business Environment (Double Weighted)
- Marketing and Market Research OR Customers and Communication
Year 13
Units:
- Working in Business
- Customers and Communication OR Marketing and Market Research
- Principles of Project Management, Responsible Business Practices OR Introduction to Human Resources
Each unit is graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction. At the end of the qualification,these grades are worth points, which are added together to determine your final grade. The grades all carry UCAS points and will be recognised by universities.
