BTEC in Applied Psychology

Year 12

Extended Certificate in Psychology is equivalent to one GCE A Level. You will need to study 4 units over 2 years to achieve this qualification.

Units:

  • Psychological Approaches and Applications
  • Conducting Psychological Research 

 

Year 13

Units:

  • Health Psychology
  • Criminal and Forensic Psychology

Each unit is graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction. At the end of the qualification,these grades are worth points, which are added together to determine your final grade. The grades all carry UCAS points and will be recognised by universities.
